In family law, the road to justice is often difficult and rocky. Every story has two sides; twists and turns are inevitable. Emotions run high. But the ultimate destination must always be what is just, fair and legally correct. Brad Morris is the only candidate prepared for the road ahead. He has the experience, the temperament and the commitment to rule fairly and compassionately.
An avid distance runner, Brad understands what it takes to go the distance: steady training, unwavering focus and a desire to successfully complete the task at hand. He will bring these qualities to the courtroom.
With three and a half years of experience as associate justice in the same court he is running for, Brad knows the job requires patience, compassion and knowledge of the law. “The job I seek touches the lives of thousands of Harris County families in distress. A calm, patient, open mind and heart are essential attributes to do the job well,” he says.
EMBRACING DIVERSITY EARLY ON
Brad learned to embrace diversity as a boy. His father worked for an oilfield service company, was transferred to Caracas, Venezuela in 1957, the summer following Brad’s first grade year. For the next six and half years, the Morris family lived in one of the world’s most dynamic and successful metropolitan areas, filled with immigrants from various European and Mediterranean countries.
The oldest of two sons, Brad was influenced by the melting pot of languages, cultures and opinions. By the time he returned to Texas, he was fluent in Spanish and conversant in French.
